Outdoor Recreation

Outdoor Recreation and Adventures Temecula-style consists of everything from flying high above in a hot air balloon, to hiking in wildlife preserves, to exploring the vineyards on horseback.  With our year-round mild climate, discovering the outdoors from sunrise to sunset is a must in Temecula. The Santa Rosa Plateau Ecological Reserve is a popular spot to view wildlife, walk an interpretive trail, explore hiking trails and view historic structures. Vail Lake Resort boasts to be California's #1 large mouth bass lake and is situated on 11,000 acres.  There are also a few community parks in Temecula including Harveston Community Park and Margarita Community Park. And, don't miss Zoofari, a hands-on, interactive wildlife adventure!
